The Powerade Couch Potato Cash Tournament series is here and with it a whole new concept of playing flag football for recreational athletes.  Never before in the history of flag football has this group been able to play for money and now they have their chance.  The challenges to making this happen are many.

How do you monitor players?

Should we allow one elite player per team?

How oftern should each round be?

What other sports allow recreational players to earn money and how do they monitor it?  ie...golf, rodeo, etc..

How many players should be on the roster?

Should we keep stats?

Can JCav really QB?

FInally, a tournament series for the Recreational Players!!!

 

If you have a bad tournament, it will be in the record books for all to see, and likewise, the winners will bask in glory until the next round.  We will manage an MVP list over the course of the series that will include (among the typical tournament MVP honors) the top five QB’s, WR’s, DB’s, Centers, Rushers and All Purpose players from each round. We will give out our dead @$$ last trophy and honor as well those players that never quit with the RUDY AWARD.  We will also keep track of the top five players with the most heart and give an award each tournament to the team that handles itself with the most class. Everything will be documented and photographed.   We will conduct interviews, film highlights from pool play, and document each moment of the championship.
